Aleksandar Obrenović

Master of Fine Arts in Painting

Aleksandar Obrenović (Gradiška, 1992) is an academic painter and holds a Master’s degree in Painting. He completed both his undergraduate and master’s studies in Painting at the Academy of Arts, University of Banja Luka, under the mentorship of Professor Jelena Karišik, PhD.

His artistic practice is distinguished by a recognizable painterly expression, developed through motifs of urban landscapes, architecture, and cultural heritage. He pays particular attention to the interplay of light, color, and atmosphere, striving to emphasize the beauty and character of everyday spaces.

He has held four solo exhibitions and participated in numerous group exhibitions, art colonies, and artistic projects in Bosnia and Herzegovina and abroad. He is the recipient of several awards and recognitions, and his works are represented in both public and private collections.

Alongside his artistic practice, he is employed as Senior Curator of the Art Collection at the Homeland Museum of Gradiška, where he is engaged in the research, professional documentation, preservation, and presentation of artistic heritage.

He lives and works in Gradiška and Banja Luka.
